Like many researchers and strategists, Katie's career path has been far from linear. From ad agencies, to pursuing a master's degree in anthropology, to nonprofits and strategic consultancies, there is one connective thread tying it all together: curiosity and the ability to continually zoom both in and out to address challenges. She's worked across a number of industries including CPG, finance and travel, and and issues including healthcare access, racial inequality, and victim blaming.

When she's not working, she's probably designing something for her house, researching the plant and herbal world, playing or building something with her son, or taking a long hike in her beloved city, Austin, TX.

What is your favorite thing about research?

I love the unearthing process, but probably even more so, I love connecting the dots--often among seemingly disparate pieces of information--and crafting really compelling insights that help businesses better understand their audiences and the world we inhabit.

What type of travel makes you happiest?

I love adventure travel! My favorite adventure trip was hiking the W Trek in Torres del Paine, Patagonia.
